Easy Homemade Beef Burger Recipe
The classic homemade beef burger with mushrooms that can't get any juicier.
Ingredients
- 1 Medium sized free range egg
- half tsp Sea Salt
- half tsp Cayenne Pepper
- half tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1 tsp Mixed Herbs
- half Red Onion
- 400 grams Organic Mince Beef
- 3 Portabello Mushroom
- 3 Burger buns
Instructions
- Add the minced beef to a bowl
- Add the Sea Salt, Cayenne Pepper, Smoked Paprika, and Mixed Herbs to the bowl and rub it all into the meat using your hands
- Finely chop half the red onion and add it to the bowl along with 1 beaten egg
- Now it's time to get your hands even messier. Rub the egg and onion into the minced beef until it is all bound together.
- Divide into 3 and roll each into a ball and then when they're on a plate push down in the middle to form a burger shape
- Fry the burgers for 5 minutes on each side for a well-done burger or 4 minutes on each side for a medium-well done burger.
- Whilst the burgers are cooking add some oil to another frying pan, clean the portobello mushrooms with some kitchen paper and then sprinkle some salt onto the mushrooms. Fry the mushroom on each side for 4 minutes or until soft and juicy
- Once the burgers and mushrooms are done add them to the buttered burger buns along with some cheese and enjoy.(Served with salad and potato wedges)
