Schwartz Potato Wedges
A simple potato wedges recipe that goes well with salads, burgers, chicken, curries, and more.
Ingredients
- 7 Maris Piper Potatoes
- 1 Schwartz Garlic & Herb Wedges Mix
- 4 tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions
- Peel 6 potatoes and cut them into wedges
- Using a colander wash the potato wedges with cold running water
- Put the potato wedges into a large pan and fill with water to cover the wedges. Now turn on the heat to high heat.
- Whilst the potato wedges are in the pan turn on the oven to 180 degrees c for a fan oven and gas mark 6 for a gas oven. Now add the olive oil into a oven dish and place them on the top shelf in the oven.
- Once the water starts boiling turn down the heat to simmer and cook for a further 5 minutes. ( You only want to parboil the potato wedges)
- Now use the colander to drain the water and then add the potato wedges to the oven dish. Turn the wedges over so that they are coated in the oil and then add the schwartz garlic and herb wedges season mix. Turn the potato wedges over until they are covered in the seasoning.
- Cook in the oven for 35 minutes making sure to turn them over after 20 minutes .
